When I was little I used to pretend that I
had my own craft TV show where I would talk to my audience and show them how to
make paper dolls out of toilet rolls, each week
(it was a weekly show) I would
make something different. This week I experienced a full circle moment. I ran a
kids school holiday craft workshops out of my studio. We made paper garlands,
painted on tote bags and the kids made their very own cloud pillow.
My son Peter even gave sewing a go!
I’ve been very lucky to find a space to
work out of which is only a block away from home, I will post before and after
shots soon. It’s still a work in progress. Here are some pics taken this week
and some of me preparing for the workshop which I named
